This comprehensive veterinary course delves into the diagnosis, management, and treatment of canine osteoarthritis (OA), providing practitioners with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Participants will explore the pathophysiology of OA, learn to utilize current diagnostic tools-including imaging and clinical assessments-and review sedation protocols and evidence-based treatment options.

Special emphasis is placed on targeted joint injection therapies and multimodal pain management strategies. A central component of the course is the hands-on wet lab, which focuses on intra-articular joint injection techniques. Designed for both experienced veterinarians and those seeking to refine their skills, the lab offers practical training in administering joint injections in canine patients. Intra-articular injections play a vital role in both human and veterinary medicine.

Attendees will gain familiarity with commonly used therapeutics and receive guided instruction on injecting the six most frequently treated joints in dogs. The course covers joint anatomy, key anatomical landmarks, and proper injection techniques. Under expert supervision, participants will practice procedures on both thoracic and pelvic limb joints, with opportunities for real-time feedback and skill refinement.

This course offers a focused yet in-depth exploration of canine osteoarthritis and its targeted treatments. Through a blend of lecture and hands-on training, attendees will leave equipped with enhanced clinical skills applicable to a range of cases-from early-stage synovitis to more advanced and chronic OA presentations. Space is limited.

Max capacity: 24 participants. Reserve your space today!
