Arthramid can be legally used in Europe under the Cascade provisions described in Regulation (EU) 2019/6, Article 112.2. In some jurisdictions, this means veterinarians must first obtain a Special Import Certificate (SIC) from their local authority before the product can be supplied. In some other countries, authorised distributors manage this process on behalf of veterinarians. In addition, the supply chain for veterinary medicines—including storage, logistics handling, and freight—must remain secure and fully compliant with Regulation (EU) 2019/6 and the Good Distribution Practice requirements outlined in Regulation (EU) 2021/1248.
