Canine Joint Injections: Why Should Horses Have All the Fun? (1hr CE)

September 4 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Virtual Event

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a prevalent condition affecting between 20-40% of dogs, significantly impacting their quality of life. While joint injections are a standard treatment in equine and human medicine, they remain underutilized in small animal practice. This lecture explores the role of intra-articular injections in OA management, covering patient selection, sedation and preparation, injection techniques, and therapeutic option. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how to incorporate joint injections into their practice to improve patient outcomes.
